Insurance Claims Handler

Thomas Smith & Co. Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Insurance Claims Handler to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Claims Handler at Thomas Smith, which forms part of PB Group.
This role is integral to our success, as you will be responsible for processing claims, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely communication with clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process insurance claims promptly and accurately
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for streamlined operations
• Liaise with clients, intermediaries, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication
• Handle telephone calls, and data entries, process claims and issue payments
• Generate and analyse reports to monitor key metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Assist with other related activities as needed to support team objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of secondary level education
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office will be considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Maltese
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
