Payroll Officer

Our client, a leader in its field of operations is growing and seeks a Payroll Officer to join its HR Team. 

The Role

• You will ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, compliance with tax regulations, and providing employee support on payroll matters.
• You will calculate wages, deductions, overtime, and bonuses, as well as processing engagements, terminations, and payroll adjustments. 
• The Payroll Officer will also file CFR forms, maintain payroll records, and prepare detailed payroll and tax reports.
• You will stay updated on tax laws, benefits programs, and employment legislation while conducting regular payroll audits to ensure data integrity. 
• You will collaborate with HR, assisting with personnel records, benefits enrollment, and employee leave tracking. 

• Have at least 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Shireburn Payroll Software is an advantage
• Be an excellent team player
