Inspire Foundation in Malta is looking to recruit a Learning and Development Executive to join their team on a full-time basis. 

About Us:

We do this by providing individuals and their families with educational, therapeutic, and leisure services. We also advocate for inclusion, educate the public and raise awareness among peers.

General Scope and Purpose of Position:
The Learning and Development Executive will manage, coordinate, monitor, and report on the learning and development programs of the Organization. Together with the Head of HR, the L&D Executive will provide advice to staff and managers in relation to learning and development needs. The L&D Executive shall occupy a dynamic role that requires an individual who is keen on helping others learn and develop within the organization. They shall be goal-oriented, with an eye for details, and can work well with employees at all levels. They shall be responsible for maintaining the relevant documentation, preparing reports, and handling the day-to-day running of the training needs.

They will also:

  • Assist the Head of HR in identifying current and future training needs through job analysis, annual performance appraisals, and career paths.
  • Update the current Induction Programme and ensure proper Induction Training is given to all new recruits
  • Develop and update e-learning induction programmes
  • Assist in developing individualized development plans that address the organisation’s future need

Volunteers and Internships:

  • Recruitment of internship students and ESC volunteers
  • Coordinate interns, work placements, and volunteers according to departmental needs, including the liaison with agencies and/or schools;
  • Manage mobility tool, including registration of the volunteers, language course assignment, and final report.
  • Coordinate all the necessary needs of the volunteers - accommodation, transport, food, training, etc.
  • Create and maintain the timetable.


Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role
  • A diploma/degree in Human Resources or Management 
  • Strong knowledge of training processes and procedures
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • A good listener, who is creative and proactive.


Prior to being recruited and throughout the duration of employment, the selected candidates need to satisfy the requirements of the Protection of Minors Act (POMA) together with those of immunisation.
