Francis Busuttil & Sons (Marketing) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Junior HR Executive to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
The Junior HR Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department's functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to continue progressing in their career in Human resources, as it offers exposure to various HR Activities and provides opportunities for professional growth and development. 

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, as well as scheduling and conducting interviews for several different roles
  • Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a seamless hiring experience
  • Maintain updated applicant tracking systems and databases.

Employee Onboarding:

  • Help facilitate the onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation, and training logistics
  • Ensure all necessary documents, contracts, and benefits information are provided to new hires
  • Monitor the progress of new employees and assist with integration into the organization.

Employee Relations:

  • Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment
  • Address minor employee concerns and escalate more complex issues to the Human Resources Manager
  • Organize and support employee engagement initiatives and events.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied
  • Help prepare reports related to HR metrics, compliance, and workforce analysis
  • Stay up to date with labour laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
  • Assists with HR-related administrative duties as may arise from time to time.


Skill & Requirements:

  • MQF 5 level of education within a Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in HR management are a plus
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in an HR role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR principles and practices through academic coursework or relevant projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • A basic understanding of HR software and applicant tracking systems is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing HR trends and practices
  • A commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
