Out client operating in the hospitality industry is looking for an HR & Payroll Administrator. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will:

  • Handle the preparation and processing of monthly payroll, ensuring the accuracy of approved weekly timesheets.
  • Reconcile daily time punches with the approved weekly roster.
  • Coordinate with external partners and subcontractors to ensure they provide the necessary workforce and comply with legal requirements.
  • Follow payroll policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
  • Manage employee engagements and terminations in accordance with corporate and statutory requirements.
  • Organize and maintain employee personnel records.
  • Communicate with recruitment agencies.
  • Arrange interviews and send relevant correspondence.
  • Manage the process of obtaining TCN work permits.
  • Prepare documents related to the end of the month.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations on HR metrics.
  • Assist employees with HR-related inquiries.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes and Maltese employment law.
  • Must speak English & preferably Maltese.
  • Knowledge of Payroll processes.
Education and Experience
  • Relevant educational qualification.
  • 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role locally.
