An international company in the healthcare sector is looking for a Training Academy Supervisor on a 1 year definite contract to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for coordinating the training academy activity and face to face training for company staff members and Clients.

Responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the company has a robust and up to date training programme that ensures its staff are trained to meet current and future challenges and demands in line with company strategy and developments within the industry.
  • To be knowledgeable on the skills set and knowledge required by the staff and contractors, to carry out their duties.
  • To lead the company in establishing itself as an accredited training centre for industry standard courses, and maintain such accreditation
  • To establish and maintain accreditation of courses and CPD developed by the company
  • To enrol students in the courses, support and follow up, and issue of certificates and invoices to Clients.
  • To work with the HR department to ensure remote site Medics have access to relevant courses to maintain the required certification necessary for the post within the required timeframe.
  • To manage and keep up to date the database for accredited courses
  • To stay abreast of developments in the market for training within our industry – new courses, new training methods and to make recommendations to the company

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in training
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including highly developed report writing skills and writing for education. Additional languages such as Maltese, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Arabic will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent Leadership and organisational skills and ability to prioritise the workload
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft office; Word and excel
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
  • Attention to detail and focus oriented
  • Takes ownership of assignments
  • Good geographical knowledge and knowledge of current affairs
