Our client in a niche field is searching for an HR Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the COO, the chosen candidate will be responsible for:
Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
Collaborate with department heads to define staffing needs and create job descriptions.
Foster a positive work environment and handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Serve as a key HR contact for employee-related inquiries and issues.
Implement and oversee the performance appraisal process.
Identify training and development needs in collaboration with department heads.
Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and employee development.
Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll administration.
Conduct compensation benchmarking to ensure industry competitiveness.
Manage relationships with benefits providers and ensure regulatory compliance.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
Conduct audits to ensure HR practices meet legal requirements.
Identify and address employee training needs.
Develop and manage a comprehensive training program, including in-house and external opportunities.
Promote continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
Partner with senior leadership on organizational change and development initiatives.
Support the development of a strong company culture aligned with organizational values and mission.
Maintain accurate HR records and manage HR systems.
Prepare and analyze HR metrics for senior management reporting.
Use data to inform HR strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
Fluency in Maltese and English both spoken and written is a must
Strong administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills
Must be resourceful and attentive, with the ability to work independently and in team
Must be proactive with a hands-on approach and open to new systems and processes
Education and Experience
Qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
At least 3-5 years of local experience in the same role with a large/corporate entity is a MUST.
