Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description
Toly Products Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team on a full-time basis. The chosen candidate will focus on developing our talent, our culture, and our leadership so we remain unique in offering a superior employee value proposition. 

Key Accountabilities Include:

• Leading the HR Function of a specific business unit within the Toly Group
• Administer talent programmes intended to build a team of A-players
• Implement training and development plans
• Plan performance review sessions
• Develop programmes to strengthen the culture and improve the employee experience
• Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status
• Maintain organizational charts and detailed job descriptions along with salary records
• Forecast hiring needs and ensures the recruitment process runs smoothly
• Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization
• Monitor budgets by department
• Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner, be a bridge to support people
• Stay up-to-date and comply with changes in labour legislation.

Requirements and skills:

• Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist ideally in a manufacturing
• Solid experience to deal with an Unionised environment
• Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), like BambooHR
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
• Solid understanding of labour legislation and payroll process
• Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Team management skills
• Degree in Psychology, Human Resources or relevant field.

This role requires a person with the ability to work independently, be able to prioritize under pressure and work effectively in a team. S/he must be good at building relationships across the business, have good written and verbal communication skills.
