Our client who specializes in the Luxury Retail industry is looking for an HR Manager. Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives
Provide strategic input on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent acquisition.
Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with Maltese labour laws, including employment contracts, working hours, and employee rights.
Stay updated on changes to Maltese employment legislation and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments.
Handle disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions in accordance with local regulations.
Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding, ensuring fair and legal hiring practices.
Design and implement employee development programmes to enhance skills and career growth.
Oversee performance management systems, including appraisals and goal-setting initiatives.
Promote initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
Manage employee exit processes, including termination procedures and exit interviews
Oversee payroll, benefits, and leave management, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Prepare HR reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
Draft, update, and communicate company policies, ensuring alignment with Maltese labour laws and organizational values.
Conduct regular training sessions on policies, compliance, and workplace best practices.
Ensure the workplace complies with health and safety regulations
Requirements
Strong ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on implementation
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
Education and Experience
Previous HR experience is a must within a senior role
Excellent communication in English and Maltese
