A local, well-established client of ours operating within the Health Care industry, is searching for an HR Manager to join their team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for a number of aspects across the HR function, including full-cycle recruitment, performance management, training & development, employee relations, and assisting with the organisation of staff events. 

  • Employee files are kept up to date with all training and other requirement
  • Full-cycle recruitment, including the induction and onboarding processes
  • Overseeing staff schedules, ensuring a full complement of staff and monitoring of overtime
  • Staff performance management and review process including monthly, quarterly and annual appraisals
  • Employee matters, including but not limited to staff engagement and retention, disiplinary procedures, and uniforms.
  • Scheduling and budgeting for staff training across the work-force
  • Monitoring sick leave occurrences and maintaining relevant statistics as necessary 
  • Organizing and coordinating staff activities, team-building, and other events
  • Maintaining the Company's 'Equality Mark Certification'
Requirements
  • Candidates must already be in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
  • Excellend command in English; Fluency in Maltese is highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education and Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of local experience in a similar role is a must
  • Prior experience within the Healthcare industry is a plus
  • Qualifications in Human Resources would be an asset
  • Strong knowledge of HR Processes and Policies
  • Knowledge of Maltese employment law
