Our client, a local and well established company within the Manufacturing/FMCG Industry is recruiting for an HR Manager to report to the CEO. The responsibilities here will include;
Being responsible for the company’s human resource system
Optimising current HR Policies/Procedures whilst constantly working on drafting and implementing new ones
Planning for and actively working on recruitment, maintaining constant liaison with the heads of departments to identify gaps and recruitment needs
Support with the onboarding, engagement and termination of staff
Handling employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
Promoting a positive team culture and strengthening relations with stakeholders
Handling all employee matters including retention, incentive plans, career growth and motivation
Driving HR Projects such as Succession Planning, Performance management, reward and recognition programs, as well as training and development
Skill-sets and Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of HR Management experience is required, whilst industry experience is seen as a plus.
Good communication, interpersonal and effective leadership skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Maltese language.
Familiarity / knowledge of Payroll processes would be an asset.
Result-driven and proactive in order to drive projects to completion.
A good track record in the ability to develop and to implement strategic business and HR objectives.
Possess a hands-on approach to work and demonstrate the ability to interact well in a dynamic environment.
Education & Experience
Masters Degree in HR, Organisational Psychology or Business Administration
Extensive knowledge of the Maltese Employment Law.
