HR Executive

Our largely known client is on the lookout for an HR Executive to join their team in Malta.

Working closely within a team and reporting to the Team Lead, your responsibilities are:

• Collaborate with departmental managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements and create job descriptions and post advertisements on various channels.
• Review resumes, screen candidates, and assess qualifications.
• Manage the hiring process by scheduling interviews, coordinate with hiring managers, and extend job offers.
• Draft employment contracts, extensions, and reference letters.
• Develop relationships with recruitment agencies and job boards
• Participate in employer branding activities.
• Assist with employee on boarding and ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
• Identify training needs and evaluate skill gaps and design, develop, and update training programs and materials.
• Provide coaching and support for skill development whilst maintaining accurate records of training activities.
• Design and implement performance appraisal systems with management and HR teams and use the appraisal results to identify training needs and develop appropriate programs.
• Communicate salary decisions clearly and address concerns.
• Handle terminations, follow-up meetings, and exit interviews.

• At least 1 year of local experience in an HR-related role.
• A strong can-do and positive attitude.
• Experience in recruitment and training would be appreciated, but this is not a must have.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with HR systems and/or a recruitment software.
• Familiarity with local employment laws and regulations.
• Must be already based in Malta.
• Clean police conduct certificate.
