Malta Public Transport Services (Operations) Limited is currently looking to recruit an HR Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR practices
  • Schedule meetings, interviews and HR events
  • Maintain and update employee records (both physical files and HRIS)
  • Support the recruitment/onboarding process by assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts, work permit documentation, communicating with internal departments and registering with relevant authorities such as Jobsplus
  • Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires
  • Assisting with (and executing) the termination process
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects
  • Any other duties related to the job position that may be required depending on the exigencies of the business at the time.

Requirements:

  • Secondary level of Education with ‘O’ level standard in main subjects, such as English and Mathematics
  • Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Maltese Employment law course certificate
  • Preferably holds at least one year working experience in HR or administration, ideally with a keen interest in Human Resources field
  • Knowledge of using Microsoft programs such as outlook, excel, etc. and the willingness to learn the HRIS
  • Demonstrates attention to detail in work, ensuring accuracy and precision in tasks
  • Have strong teamwork skills
  • Able to show initative and drive
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organisational skills, efficiently managing taskscand deadlines to ensure productive and timely completion ofcprojects.
