Hilton Malta is currently looking to recruit a Sous Chef to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen within the Kitchen Brigade for the position of Sous Chef.
Working closely with the Executive Sous Chef and the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for planning and directing food preparation within the kitchen. The role entails the leadership and development of the Kitchen Brigade to ensure an excellent quality product for our Guests
Working in close liaison with other departments, this position will also be involved in food ordering, managing food and labour costs and ensuring full compliance to Hilton Standards and Health and Safety.
The selected candidate will have leadership experience within the kitchen brigade in the various sections of the kitchen operation, be creative and able to suggest areas for improvement on an ongoing basis and be a good communicator and a well-respected leader.
