Food Chain Ltd operates 20 stores in total across Malta for Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC and Boost. A vacancy has arisen with Pizza Hut for the post of Shift Manager.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • The opening, closing and running of shifts.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Ensuring that international standards are being adhered to.
  • To ensure proper handover at end of shift.
  • To ensure that staff members are well trained and following franchise operations standards.
  • Coaching and motivating crew members.
  • Ensuring the right supply of products against forecasted targets.

Educational and skill requirements

  • Be a very dynamic and motivated person and able to motivate his/her team.
  • Can lead by example by applying a hands-on approach.
  • Strong leadership, motivation, and people skills.
  • Be a good communicator, a good listening, and possesses assertiveness skills.
  • Can word under pressure and be results-oriented.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The restaurant was an immediate hit with locals and tourists alike, with long queues outside waiting to be seated. Sliema and Valletta were subsequently opened in 1993 and 1995 respectively.  During December 2004, the fifth outlet was officially opened in the centre of Bugibba and a professional home/office delivery service was then introduced with the opening of Pizza Hut® Valletta. With the results of high demand for delivery services, in October 2009 a new Take-Out and Delivery outlet was opened at Pavi Supermarket, Qormi while in October 2022 a sixth outlet opened in Campus Hub Msida.
