As the Bar Manager at Cabana Beach Bar, you will thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where you will play a critical role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You'll need to have strong product knowledge of both classic and in-house cocktails. Your responsibilities will include mixing, shaking, pouring, and creating stunning drinks using diverse methods and techniques. We provide comprehensive in-house training to uphold our high standards and ensure you have thorough knowledge of our wide range of products, enhancing both guest satisfaction and your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth operation and profitability of the bar.
  • Report to the F&B Manager and carry out any reasonable tasks or duties as requested, including deputizing in their absence.
  • Engage in all business areas to provide support as needed.
  • Lead a proactive team that is accountable for bar profitability and service standards.
  • Monitor costs and recommend measures for control.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Department Operational Budget.
  • Maintain and amend Standard Operating Procedures in line with company Brand Standards and outlet requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Management team to take corrective action when needed.#
  • Monitor productivity levels and take immediate corrective action if necessary.
  • Control vacation planning for the department.
  • Recommend and control measures for cost efficiency without compromising standards.
  • Handle guest complaints, requests, and inquiries regarding food, beverage, and service efficiently.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with guests to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently met.
  • Maintain and revise department policies and procedures as needed.
  • Implement effective training programs to equip team members with necessary skills for optimal performance.
  • Ensure team members adhere to company regulations and dress code.
  • Provide clear direction and set departmental objectives.
  • Promote a culture of "going the extra mile" for exceptional customer care.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure full compliance with hotel health and safety standards.
  • Address any identified shortfalls in health and safety promptly and efficiently.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and passion for Italian food, beverage, and culture.
  • Guest-focused leadership with a commitment to exceeding guest expectations daily.
  • Proven track record of commercial control over key performance indicators like sales, gross profit, and payroll.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar premium, fast-paced bar and restaurant environment.
  • Experience in training, developing, and motivating teams with demonstrable results.
  • Strong leadership skills with an approachable and hands-on style.
