Sales & Events Manager

Our client, a leading player in the hospitality industry, enjoying an excellent reputation for setting high standards, is currently seeking to employ a Sales and Events Manager to join their professional team. Reporting to the Executive Manager - Business Development your duties will include:

• Evaluating and critically analysing all events following their delivery, including seeking customer feedback
• Overseeing the designing and production of all marketing collateral, promotion, and adverts
• Liaising with clients from the beginning to the end, and also attending the event to ensure that it goes smoothly
• Responsible for all project and event budgets from the beginning to the end
• Preparing proposals for clients and maintaining well-organized event records
• Issuing of relevant BEO’s and Weekly Sales Diary
• Duty Management

• Professional level of written and oral English, Maltese is preferred
• Customer and service oriented
• Proficiency IT applications, including MS Office. Working knowledge of Opera will be considered an asset
• Very well organised and smart in appearance
• Have strong negotiation, communications, interpersonal and presentation skills

• Have solid proven experience selling/organizing weddings/social events
• Relevant qualification in Hospitality would be considered an asset
