H Operations Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Restaurant Manager.

The Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the restaurant, maintaining optimal stock levels, and overseeing a competent staff. Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and uphold positive client and customer relationships
  • Provide guidance and implement disciplinary measures for employees when necessary
  • Conduct informative briefing meetings with staff
  • Execute daily operational tasks promptly and efficiently
  • Conduct monthly stocktakes to manage inventory effectively
  • Ensure timely preparation and service of food and drinks
  • Enforce financial controls, managing operating expenses, scheduling, and purchasing
  • Oversee employee uniform adherence and compliance with the company's dress code
  • Foster a positive working environment, regularly checking in on employee satisfaction
  • Regularly inspect facilities to enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
  • Monitor and enhance team member performance, including supervision, scheduling, work assignment, and training
  • Manage stock inventory to prevent wastage or abuse by staff and maintain adequate stock levels
  • Plan and actively participate in promotional events
  • Facilitate two-way communication, nurturing an ownership environment with a focus on motivation and teamwork
  • Review sales and beverage costs, reconcile accounting discrepancies, and ensure proper cash management
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to company guidelines
  • Collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Assets:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar managerial position
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Effective multitasking and flexibility to accommodate last-minute requests
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent telephone persona with a friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Self-motivated with the capability to excel in a fast-moving environment
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS system)
  • Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
