The Xara Collection in Malta is currently looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our esteemed culinary team. 

This role offers the opportunity to work at our prestigious Michelin star restaurant in Malta located in a beautifully restored 19th-century palazzo in the vibrant Balluta area. 

This is a unique chance to join the Xara Collection and be part of our exciting culinary journey. 

The impact you will make:

  • Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries and dessert
  • Train and supervise pastry staff
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all pastry items
  • Maintain a clean and organized pastry kitchen
  • Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques

About You:  

  • As our ideal candidate, you will have a passion for hospitality and attention to detail 
  • You will have at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced yet quality-driven environment 
  • Ability to run designated sections including day-to-day ordering 
  • Commitment to teamwork and good communication skills 
  • Energy and enthusiasm for learning and developing 
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
