Hotel Receptionist

WT Continental is currently looking to recruit a Hotel Receptionist to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded accurately
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with room reservations and ensure all bookings are accurate and up-to-date
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained
• Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
• Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
• Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions
• Handle any other duties assigned by the hotel manager or supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
