Laundry Attendant
Mercury Towers Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Laundry Attendant to join their team on a full-time basis.
Core responsibilities:
- Count, store and issue linen and uniforms as directed;
- Assist with linen stock-takes as directed;
- Ensure linen room is kept clean at all times;
- Fill in linen record sheets for laundry;
- Transport linen to laundry;
- Have a good knowledge of all hotel facilities and be able to answer guest questions in a quick, polite and helpful manner.
- Hand in lost property immediately to the Housekeeping office;
- Be polite and helpful to all internal customers;
- Report any damaged or missing laundry items;
- Handle reject linen as directed;
- Performs other duties as required.
What are we looking for?
- The ideal candidate must have 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in the field or in the hospitality industry.
- Must be customer service driven and detail-oriented.
- Must be a team player and have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
