Kitchen Steward

Supports the Stewarding Manager, Stewarding Supervisors ,Executive Head Chef and the Kitchen Management team in the supervision and daily management of the Kitchen departments and the quality of its cleaning standards, in the most cost-effective method in line with the quality hygiene and management policy of the Company.

What we are looking for:

• Coordinates with other Kitchen Management team 
• regarding guest orders and changing needs, including arrangements.
• Good Knowledge of HACCP and Cleaning procedures
• Valid food handlers licence
• Monitors compliance with food/kitchen rules, regulations, and laws
• Ensures that breakdown areas are built, properly staffed, and cleaned after reach function
• Ensures that all equipment, transportation carts, and other items are cleaned and ready for use at the end of each shift

Qualifications for stewarding manager

• Knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards
• Has a basic knowledge of the proper use of related chemicals
• Ability to work with leaders in other departments to solve issues and concerns
• Ability to hold high standards in cleaning and sanitation
• Knowledge of HACCP system
• Minium 1 year experience as a Steward position in a 5 or 4 star property with high volumes or a restaurant would be considered
