Housekeeping Attendant

Seeking to recruit a Housekeeping Attendant to work Full-Time on a shift basis and to be involved in all day-to-day aspects of cleaning, laundry, and hotel housekeeping supplies, whilst also assessing and liaising maintenance needs with the Hotel Manager/Supervisor.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and arranging guest rooms daily

• Changing, making beds, washing bedding, and towels

• Disinfecting, sanitizing, and cleaning bathrooms and providing toiletries

• Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, toilets, countertops, and sinks

• Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them

• Vacuuming & removing rubbish

• Performing thorough cleaning after guests check out on their last day

• Stocking and maintaining the inventory of housekeeping supplies

• Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs

• Clean public areas within the Hotel building as directed

• Meeting quality standards as directed by management

• Ensuring compliance with sanitization, hygiene, and health & safety policies

The candidate is required to have previous experience in the same job role, have a good understanding of English, be committed to customer satisfaction, and be able to take direction as needed by Management. Certifications and/or qualifications are necessary.
