Food Production Assistant

Da Vinci Bakery (part of Good Earth), established in 1993, produces a variety of sweet and savoury food products, ranging from traditional Maltese food to British baking delicacies and a wide range of party foods such as pizza, sausage rolls, pastizzi and qassatat. We are seeking to recruit a Food Production Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. 

Responsibilities:

• To accurately measure and prepare ingredients according to established recipes and production schedules.
• To operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients, ensuring consistency and adherence to quality standards.
• To monitor dough and batter textures, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired consistencies.
• To clean, sanitize, and maintain mixing equipment and work areas to meet health and safety regulations.
• To work closely with all teams to ensure a seamless workflow and timely production.

Requirements:

• Previous working experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a bakery’s mixing section.
• Have the ability to meet deadlines and set goals.
• Have good communication skills. 
• Have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Our food production factory is located in Burmarrad (Naxxar) and we are offering a full-time role, Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm.
