As a host Cabana Beach Club, you will be operating in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. You will represent the restaurant, ensuring an outstanding guest journey from arrival to departure. In this role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences according to UML & ME Malta service standards, for which you will receive comprehensive in-house training to uphold our high standards. You will gain a thorough understanding of our extensive range of products, enabling you to provide guests with an outstanding experience and deepen your knowledge of your role.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all reservations
• Welcome and greet guests
• Create an outstanding first impression for all guests
• Oversee the processing of deposits and pre-orders for large party reservations
• Update weekly booking and sales reports for the Operations team
• Maximize opportunities to grow sales
• Communicate daily with the kitchen team
• Optimize the use of the reservation system

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge and passion for Italian food, beverages, and culture
• A guest-focused approach with a daily goal to exceed expectations
• Experience in a similar premium, fast-paced bar and restaurant environment
• Proven experience in training, developing, and motivating a team
• An approachable demeanour
• Excellent organizational skills
