F&B Coordinator

Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit an F&B Coordinator to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Reporting to the Director of Culinary, the F&B Coordinator shall assist in the day-to-day administration and running of the hotel’s outlets, and banqueting department and support the team to deliver the best service to our esteemed guests.

Main responsibilities:

• Ensuring all menus are up-to-date and in good condition
• Coordinating with all F&B HODs and filling in the timesheets every week
• Co-ordinating with payroll on timesheets for all departmental associates
• Helping in upselling the F&B venues with our in-house guests by being present during specific service periods
• Ensure all food and beverage and kitchen employees are up to date on required training, including organizing training courses when required
• Assisting in the F&B operational duties through structured management of the required communication between departments to ensure excellent and consistent product delivery
• Taking care of social media, email and phone queries for the various outlets
• Assist with HACCP documentation
• Additional admin duties.

What we’re looking for:

• Have an excellent knowledge of the English Language
• Able to use Office software including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Be a team player
• Be able to address guests' needs and demands
• Have an eye for detail and a smart appearance
• Have at least one year’s experience in a similar post.
