Director of Operations (Sabi)

Double Tree by Hilton Malta is seeking to recruit an experienced and well-seasoned Director of Operations to manage various Food & Drinks outlets and banqueting operations as part of our new opening ‘SABI’. 

As a member of the Head of Department Team, the selected candidate will take over the leadership of industry leading ‘Sabi’ complex to be located at the Double Tree by Hilton Malta in St Paul’s bay. 

The ‘Sabi’ complex, previously known as Amazonia, has been demolished and a new complex is currently being built and is expected to welcome its first Guests well in time for 2025. Featuring various pools and its own beach access, ‘Sabi’ will host various industry leading Food and Drink outlets, including a strong emphasis on Banqueting operations and will operate year-round. 

The Director of ‘Sabi’ Operation will oversee all aspects of the complex operations including an all-round restaurant, bar, coffee shop, beach club management, including an exclusive Adults only beach club and an event venue. As part of our prestigious hotel resorts, the role will also involve ensuring the highest level of service excellence and Guest Satisfaction, lead and inspire a diverse team fostering a positive and dynamic work environment, and maximizing revenue and profitability opportunities through innovative strategies and drive customer retention through exceptional service and memorable Guest Experiences.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in a high-end F&D environment, who has strong leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with Guests, Team Members and other stakeholders. A track record in sales and ability to drive revenue growth and enhance business performance is also necessary for this position.
