Coffee Shop Manager
MALLARD CO LTD in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Coffee Shop Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an energetic person to join our Food and Beverage department.
As a Coffee Shop Manager, you will be expected to ensure that the Coffee Shop operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the cafeteria’s work schedules
- Conducting regular inspections of the cafeteria to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained
- Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations
- Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other essentials are adequately stocked
- Monitoring the cash flow and settling outstanding bills
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
- Assist in stock take and beverage orders
- Be upselling oriented
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Coffee Shop environment
- Fluent in Maltese & English
- Computer literate
- Strong management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills.
