Coffee Shop Manager

MALLARD CO LTD in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Coffee Shop Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
An opportunity has arisen for an energetic person to join our Food and Beverage department.
As a Coffee Shop Manager, you will be expected to ensure that the Coffee Shop operations run smoothly. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing the cafeteria’s work schedules
• Conducting regular inspections of the cafeteria to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained
• Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations
• Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other essentials are adequately stocked
• Monitoring the cash flow and settling outstanding bills
• Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
• Assist in stock take and beverage orders
• Be upselling oriented
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Coffee Shop environment
• Fluent in Maltese & English 
• Computer literate
• Strong management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills.
