Catering Manager
Locations - Zurrieq / Ghaxaq / Qormi.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Overseeing all day to day operations of the business.
- Manage the catering team, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
- Schedule staff shifts and assign duties to optimise efficiency.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints from clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service offerings.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Fluent in Maltese and English speaking.:
- Proven experience in catering management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
