Cafe & Gelateria Supervisor

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee the daily operations of our cafeteria and gelaterias. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a passion for customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the highest quality of products and services while maintaining a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of our shop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.
• Train, mentor, and manage staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
• Opening, closing procedures, cash handling and staff rosters
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure that the shop is sufficiently stocked to meet demand, is kept at optimum condition, and wastage is minimized and recorded 
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain the shop clean and organized, including all areas; clearing tables, floors, and waste areas, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Ensure the daily and weekly cleaning schedules are completed by staff to a high standard 
• Supervise deliveries, including the checking of delivery notes and verification of delivered goods 
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review.
  
  Requirements:
•  Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry.
•  Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service.
• Fluency in English is required.
