Bartender

Job Description
Tal-Villagg Wine Bar in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Bartender to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are looking for a high-energy Bartender to provide a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for our guests. He or she should have expansive knowledge of wine, liquor and beer, and a passion for serving others. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks
• Ability to multitask by taking care of the bar,  guests, and service tickets in a timely manner
• Assess guest's needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Complete a wine bottle inventory at the start and close of a shift 
• Balance the cash drawer at the start and close of each shift
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

What does a qualified candidate look like?

• Proficient in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Ability to operate a POS terminal 
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills 
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Working knowledge of standard cocktail recipes 
• Ability to reach and bend, and be able to lift up to 10 kg.
