Bars Manager
The Qawra Palace Hotel is a hospitality ownership managed by the Vella family, with most welcoming management and staff who provide their customers with efficient and pleasant service.
An opportunity has arisen for an energetic person to join our Food and Beverage department. The Bars managers keep their bars running smoothly by handling day-to-day operations, managing resources, and employees, and creating a safe, fun environment for staff and patrons.
Responsibilities
• Managing the bars work schedules
• Conducting regular inspections of the bars to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained
• Train and supervise restaurant staff
• Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service
• Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked
• Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills
• Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner
• Planning and taking part in promotional events
• Assist in stock take and beverage orders
• Be upselling oriented
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety guidelines
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in food and beverage environment
• Experience in Mixology will be considered an asset
• Degree in hospitality is advantageous
• Computer literate
• Strong management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
