Bar Team Leader (The Cisk Tap)

A vacancy has arisen within the CISK TAP for the post of Bar Team Leader. 

Reporting to the Bar Manager, the selected candidate will be required to manage effectively the opening, closing and running of shifts while maintaining the outlet’s operating standards. 

Main duties shall include:

• Opening, closing and running of shifts at the bar.

• Ensuring the bar is stocked with product availability.

• Developing a proper handover at the end of each shift and reporting any issues to the Bar Manager.

• Ensuring customer satisfaction and being efficient at resolving complaints.

• Motivating crew members by positively reinforcing their strengths and correcting their shortcomings.

• Ensuring that cash at the end of each shift follows the correct procedures.

• Ensuring that all orders are being prepared and served as per outlet standards while reporting any inconsistencies.

• Ensuring that staff keep all records up to date, such as fridge temperatures, cleaning schedules, maintenance lists and order forms.

• Putting forward and discussing any ideas that will help improve efficiency of service and cost effectiveness.

• Ensuring that all staff are well groomed and in full uniform as per company policy.

• Assisting the bar manager with rostering, training and coaching of staff members.

Most importantly you need to:

• have extensive knowledge and experience in the Food and Beverage sector, especially in bar industry.

• have as a basic level of education at O’Level standard.

• have good knowledge of HACCP standards.

• have strong leadership skills.

• be ICT literate.

• have a pleasant personality together with strong verbal communication skills.
