Radio Rooftop at ME Malta is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team.

Our concept is inspired by contemporary Japanese cuisine with international influences, delivering a vibrant rooftop dining experience with exceptional quality, creativity and consistency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who has previous experience working in high-end Asian or Japanese restaurants or luxury hotels and is looking to further their career within one of Malta's leading lifestyle destinations.

What will you do?

P• Manage and organise your assigned kitchen section during preparation and service.

• Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards of quality and consistency.

• Ensure all mise en place is completed before service.

• Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP and health & safety standards.

• Supervise and support Demi Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs.

• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage.

• Ensure consistency with recipes, specifications and presentation.

• Support menu development and seasonal promotions.

• Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.

• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen brigade.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2–3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel or premium Asian/Japanese restaurant.

• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients and preparation techniques.

• Experience working within fast-paced, high-quality operations.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

• A positive attitude and strong leadership qualities.

• Passion for innovation, quality and guest satisfaction.

• Food Hygiene Certification.

• The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining exceptional standards.

Preferred

• Previous experience within luxury lifestyle hotels or Michelin Guide restaurants.

• Candidates already residing in Malta will be given preference.

• Immediate availability is considered an advantage.
