Bartender

Position Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering an excellent bar service experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The role includes preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, maintaining bar standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations while upholding the group’s service excellence and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards of the bar area.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following company procedures.
• Engage with guests to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and replenishment.
• Support bar setup and closing procedures, including cleaning and restocking.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth service operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Promote menu items, specials, and upsell where appropriate.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar Food & Beverage role is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage service is an advantage.
• Strong team player with a positive and professional attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an asset.
