SCAR Agency Ltd. in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Franchise Operation and Development Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
We are currently looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the Operations and Development of our new Franchise Brand. The Operations Manager shall have the overall responsibility for the smooth running of all the Franchise outlets held by the Company.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the Development, Design and Implementation of operational policies and procedures for all outlets ensuring that operations run efficiently and consistently to the Franchise requirements
  • Responsible for the development of the Brand across the Maltese Islands
  • Providing support in the day-to-day operations where necessary to ensure that all outlets are running efficiently - this includes overseeing each outlet’s supply chain management, inventory control and staff management
  • Responsible for the Hiring and Training of employees in accordance with the know-how procedures of the Brand
  • Developing a marketing strategy for all outlets / Brands
  • Oversee the managers/supervisors of each outlet ensuring that the Franchise standards and requirements are met and adhered to at all times
  • Conduct regular internal audits of all outlets
  • Monitoring the Brand’s Key Performance Indicators in each outlet to identify trends and areas of improvement
  • Preparing reports and conducting meetings with managers and supervisors of each outlet to ensure that targets are met, outlets are running efficiently, and customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with all local authorities for a smooth running of the operations ensuring that all outlets are compliant with health and safety regulations, including food safety and hygiene standards
  • Work hand in hand with the CFO to meet budgets, control costs and achieve profits
  • Oversee the supply chain and Co-ordinate with the Franchise overseas Distributor and also local Distributors ensuring that all outlets including the local headquarters are well equipped with the required level of inventory.
