We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Manager To Assist the Operations Manager in the smooth running of the department duties. To replace him on his absence and to assist in any outlet when necessary.

Maltese and English speaking candidates will be given preference. 

The ideal candidate must have:

• Positive and proactive attitude

• Previous experience in similar role

• Experience in training staff 

• Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative

• Well organised 

• Good communications skills

• Computer literate

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package

Main Duties:

• To assist the Operations Manager in the preparation of the yearly budget.

• To assist the Operations Manager to ensure that each outlet is individually profitable by suggesting offers for bars etc.

• To assist the Operations Manager in ensuring that all Company and hotel policies and procedures, as well that minimum standards are adhered to.

• To assist the Operations Manager in monitoring service and Food & Beverage standards. To work with the Outlet Supervisors and Restaurant Manager to take corrective action where necessary.

• To assist the Operations Manager in every aspect of the department

• To assist in management of outlets and banquets when necessary.

• To assist each Outlet Supervisors in the planning and implementation of effective marketing plan to ensure maximum revenues and profits.

• To assist each outlet Supervisor in maximising productivity and morale and in maintaining discipline.

• To follow up with the appraisal interviews and conduct the Appraisal interviews.

• To assist the Operations Manager in preparing forms and reports which are to be given to the General Manager.

• To carry out duty management duties as per monthly schedule.

• To prepare comparisons between budget and actual sales monthly.

• To assist the Operations Manager on the Blue Flag certification procedures and renewals.

• To work hand in hand with the Events department.

• To Upraise staff of all outlets.
