Car Park Junior Manager

Malta International Airport is currently looking to recruit a Car Park Junior Manager to join their team on a full-time.

Overview:
Malta International Airport plc is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with people within an Airport environment and are willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy has arisen within the Airport Parking Department.

Purpose of Position:
To manage, oversee and coordinate the day-to-day running of the parking facility operations and airport parking team, ensuring the successful continuity of car park operations on the airport campus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• General responsibility for the operation of the airport car parks, including Park East
• Reporting any issues to the software system supplier and follow up on any pending development or system updates
• Monitoring the performance of all kiosk operators and providing feedback as appropriate, enforcing high customer service standards
• Following up on email requests and/or delegating work as required and in a timely manner
• Providing information to and responding to inquiries from the public and stakeholders, including requests for card accesses
• Strategically reviewing the car park operation and overseeing the efficient utilization of staff and equipment, including stock control.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience managing a team
• Have good leadership skills, and confidence in addressing operational challenges and deficiencies
• Have good communication skills and a positive approach
• Be knowledgeable in both written and spoken English and Maltese
• Be capable of working well under pressure
• Be capable of working on own initiative
• Be a confident user of the Microsoft Office suite
• Have a diploma or bachelor’s degree level of education which will be considered an asset.
