CaterEssence Limited in Malta is currently looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
Job Role:

We actively seek to recruit and supervise our daily restaurant operations while assisting our Restaurant Manager to guarantee high company standards and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Restaurant Manager by running the restaurant and looking after our clients
- Scheduling of shifts
- Appointing, inducting, and mentoring new staff members
- Resolving clients’ queries and grievances in a professional manner
- Ensuring that the restaurant adheres to health and safety regulations
- Identify, delegate, and supervise responsibilities to employees to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved
- Consistently review operations and employees to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Perform regular inspection of food and beverage preparation and presentation
- Coordinate with team to meet sales targets, ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase productivity
Requirements:
- Have flexibility in shifts which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Have in possession a valid driving license
- Be highly focused, articulate in communication, and have a positive can-do attitude
- Previous experience in restaurant operation management will be considered an asset
- Skills to develop and motivate outstanding teams in a supportive and fun environment
- Have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry, with a drive to deliver a consistently high level of service
- Be a strong team player who leads a team by example
