Investment Associate

1923 Investments Plc in Malta is looking to recruit an Investment Associate to join their team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Investment Associate will support the team on deal organisation, analysis and execution from acquisition to exit and will be specifically involved in analysing new investment opportunities, financial modelling and due diligence.

Job Role: 
The chosen candidate will be responsible for strategic analysis and regular monitoring of portfolio companies. The investment Associate will also be performing financial analysis of different business sectors as well as monitoring macro-economic data which will be presented to the CEO. This role is a valuable opportunity for an experienced, qualified professional with an ability to work independently and efficiently under time pressure in a fast-paced environment.

The Requirements: 

• The successful candidate, who would have held a similar role for more than five years within an investment firm, corporate finance within an Investment Bank or Big 4 firm, will have a strong academic record and will be a university graduate with a specialisation in finance, accounting or economics;
• Excellent financial modelling skills, presentation skills and both oral and written communication skills are required for this position.
