Senior QA Automation Engineer

Our client, a leader in the iGaming industry, is seeking to recruit a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their growing team who will have a vital part in the design and development of their iGaming platform. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop thorough test plans.
• Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts using Java and leading automation frameworks.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the reliability and scalability of our applications.
• Identify and document software defects with clarity and precision.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve identified issues.
• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and test automation.

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Java, including a demonstrated track record in developing automated testing frameworks, particularly for API testing.
• Proficient programming skills in Java and experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Expertise in test automation tools such as Playwright and proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and debugging techniques.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies, including HTML, TypeScript, Angular, or React, is a plus.
• Proficient in English with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven/Gradle and web frameworks such as Micronaut, Spring Boot, or Quarkus.
