Resource Group is looking for a CAMO Engineer to join the team of a major airline in Malta.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of the annual review of AMPs for aircraft types as designated by the CAM.
Preparation of the annual Analysis of the Effectiveness of the AMP for the aircraft type as designated by the CAM.
Editing and control of all maintenance tasks on the maintenance management software in use by the CAMO to reflect the requirements in the respective AMPs.
Checking that any updates to the maintenance management software in use by the CAMO are working properly and work towards the continuous improvement of the system in collaboration with the ICT Department.
Evaluation and control of implementation of all Ads, SBs, Modifications, and OTDs.
Performing technical occurrence investigations.
Preparing Engineering Orders and/or Maintenance Instructions based on Approved Maintenance Data for Company Required Tasks.
Liaising with the relevant TCHs, OEMs, and Authorities to help solve any ongoing problems/difficulties with aircraft maintenance. This includes obtaining the Repair Deviation Approval Sheets (RAS) with regards to structural repairs or any other repairs as and if required.
Planning base maintenance inputs with Part 145 AMO’s and MRO’s
Review the TLSR pages on a daily basis and mark the ATA Chapter for each discrepancy.
Technical records administration.
Any other duties assigned by the CAM.
Requirements
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or related studies
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Knowledge of SMS and Human Factors issues is beneficial
Knowledge of maintenance steering group logic is beneficial
Knowledge of reliability methods and analysis is beneficial
