Toly Products Ltd in Malta is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the role of Plant Engineer on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all plant equipment is in good working condition and well maintained.
Allocate technical resources in a timely and efficient manner. - Give full support to all technical production needs.
- Plan and implement a condition monitoring system for all the equipment in the factory.
- Take full responsibility for the BMS system of the factory.
- Constantly monitor electrical power consumption and find ways to contain such consumption.
- Effectively communicate with other departments to achieve the best possible solution to a specific technical issue.
- Ensure that all spare parts needed for the implementation of preventive maintenance are available in stock
- Issue orders for parts needed both for breakdowns and also for preventive maintenance.
- Have a hands-on approach attitude to solving technical problems.
- Ensure that all works performed are in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Capable of finding solutions for a more efficient process.
- Implement solutions and procedures to reduce machine downtime as much as physically possible.
- Ensuring that the use of electricity and water consumption is minimized by identifying opportunities to reduce consumption.
Skill-sets and Requirements:
- Great Communication Skills in English
- Organized and excellent project management skills
- Analytical with good problem-solving skills
- ISO Standards Experience
- Exposure to injection moulding.
- A minimum of MQF Level 6 in Engineering or HTD with 5-year experience is required.
- Engineers must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a local manufacturing environment is required, including experience of the management of a team
- Have a good command of Microsoft Office and CAD.
