A challenging opportunity has arisen ahead for those who would like to advance their career within the Maintenance Department. Working with a highly dynamic team in a fast-moving environment, the candidate will ensure that the day-to-day maintenance requirements are fulfilled in a professional and efficient manner.
The candidate will be responsible for:
Installing, maintaining and repairing industrial electrical and refrigeration equipment
Routine Maintenance on machinery
Working with engineering staff to improve or design equipment
Fixing malfunctioning equipment as needed
Installation of new equipment or machinery is also required
To carry out any other requirements needed to allow the company to operate efficiently
To always work in a safe manner, to comply with all current safety legislation and company safety policy
To complete all activities identified within the department work packs
Ensure the work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner
Able to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others
Be able to problem solve seek solutions through the expertise of both self and others, research the facts with care and resolve problems in a timely and thorough manner
Show a systematic approach to decision-making, ensuring all necessary facts and information are available and accurate
Ability to work on a high specification in order to improve and maintain quality
Must have the drive and enthusiasm to work on tight deadlines
Liaises with other departments to ensure good communication and offer support
Is fully conversant with the Corinthia Employee Handbook
Supports the hotel operation in times of demand.
The ideal candidate requires to be:
Minimum 2 years in a similar capacity
Electrical License A and B and/or HVAC, F Gas certification
Communicate clearly and concisely
Analytical and have the drive to initiate new ideas or plans
Strong and confident personality coupled with the ability to work as part of a team
An organised and methodical approach
Good time management for meeting strict deadlines
Flexibility regarding work hours essential
Proof of eligibility to work in Malta.
