HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team in Malta. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
• Test and calibrate system controls and thermostats.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Comply with local regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Provide exceptional service and support to clients on-site.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
• Technical certification or diploma in HVAC, air conditioning, or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid EU work permit (if applicable).
• Good communication skills in English (Maltese is an asset).
• A valid drivers license is preferred.
