A leading educational institution in Malta is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that all operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance: Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and run a proactive maintenance program to ensure compliance with Maltese regulations.
Health & Safety: Act as the designated H&S Officer, managing policies, risk assessments, statutory inspections, and incident reporting.
Project & Contract Management: Manage facilities projects from planning to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Ensure all supplier contracts comply with safety standards and Maltese law.
Financial Strategy: Collaborate on the annual facilities budget and align site planning with the institution's strategic and sustainability goals.
Team Leadership: Lead the Maintenance Team and line-manage the Cleaning Team.
Compliance: Maintain a fully audit-ready compliance register for contracts, warranties, and certifications.
RequirementsEducation: Experience: Proven track record in facilities management, ideally within Malta or a regulated environment. Technical Knowledge: Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage contractors.
