UNEC Servicing Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Estimator to join their team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing quotations based on inspection reports and company procedures
- Maintaining updated records regarding quotations issued and following up on submitted quotations
- Conducting detailed on-site inspections and identifying labour and material needs
- Coordinating with internal departments to determine costs of labour requirements
- Monitoring budgets and pricing based on internal procedures
- Maintaining a relationship with suppliers in order to accurately calculate the costs of materials and consumables
- Planning workflows and identifying shortages.
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification in Marine Engineering or a similar technical qualification
- Experience in a similar industry would be considered an asset
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and manage a team
- Highly developed organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently communicate with clients
- The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English
- In possession of a driving license.
