Lead Technician

UNEC Servicing Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Industrial Equipment Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Operating under UNEC Servicing Ltd the UNEC’s Industrial Equipment Technician section mainly works on Ingersoll Rand Compressors, Himoinsa Generators and Loading Systems Docks and Doors.

Tasks:

• Perform pre-delivery inspections
• Perform installation of new equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance according to agreed programs and contracts
• Perform diagnostics and repair works on both mechanical and electrical faults as per the manufacturer’s procedures
• Any ad-hoc work that may occur due to business exigencies.

The ideal candidates should have:

• Minimum 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience
• In possession of a Technical Diploma (Electrical or Mechanical) or the equivalent
• The ability to work on their own initiative as well as form part of a team
• Fluency in Maltese and English
• In possession of a driving license
• Candidates must also be in possession of an Electrical License B.
