Our client is well established in the hotel industry. They are looking for a Chief Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team
The Role
- Lead a team of Engineers & Technicians
- Be part of the Senior Management Team and report directly into the GM
- Ensure that maintenance, both ongoing and preventive are conducted within established timeframes and quality
- Create strategy for maintenance and ensure its implementation
- Ensure that inventory is always up to date and well stocked
- Ensure that all facility related operations/machinary are planned and scheduled in a timely manner
- Ensure that relationships with 3rd party suppliers are optimal
- Promote continious improvement exercises to ensure cost savings be from internal and external contracts and from internal processes
- Be assertive yet approachable
- Have a minimum 3 years in a similar position
- Have experience in leading a team
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
