As a Marketing Analyst, you will work within the Marketing Analytics team, using Python, PostgreSQL, Google Cloud, and assorted visualisation tools to build data pipelines, handle queries, and support global campaigns.

The Marketing Analytics team seeks an Analyst to deliver real-time and actionable insights. You will collaborate with colleagues across various locations (Stoke, Gibraltar, Malta and the US) and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, pipeline development, and supporting investigations. Leverage your technical expertise (Python, Anaconda, PostgreSQL and Google Cloud) to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Growth opportunities: ownership of projects, collaboration with executive teams, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Experience with part of our technical stack is preferred. We value a strong work ethic and a passion for learning.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Hands-on experience with Python and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL).
  • Experience using cloud services.
  • Highly numerate and proficient in Excel, Scripting, and Algorithm design.
  • Comfortable using Git in a production setting for version control.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated vertical would be beneficial.
  • Strong interest in data mining, data engineering, and machine learning.
  • Experience in data modelling, such as using Marketing Mixed Models would be beneficial.
  • Comfortable writing and maintaining production code would be beneficial.
  • Experience working with various API formats and data mining.
  • Extra points for having experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GO or Rust.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process of acquiring data from various internal and external sources.
  • Build and maintain automated workflows to efficiently transfer and transport data.
  • Respond to data requests from the wider marketing teams and collaborate to build dashboards that allow for the monitoring of KPIs.
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance metrics and identify key insights.
  • Ensure that the data and marketing performance adhere to company and industry regulations.
  • Work effectively with all internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Keep up to date with changes in technology and become a proficient practitioner of the technologies used by the team.
  • Conscientiously contribute to current documentation and version management.
